My Sephora Learning

is the Learning Management Platform for Sephora.
All employees have access to this portal to view educational courses, sign up for classes, and stay
on track with learning.

Background

My Sephora Learning is the main platform at Sephora Education to help train employees on subjects such as Paid Services, Hygiene etiquette, Brand Education and POS software training during shifts and low traffic hours. We work closely with our IT, developers, senior managers and vendors to test and QA usability, identify opportunities to improve and update the platform experience.

Problem

Sephora underwent a platform migration and as part of the process, our team leads were responsible for testing and the QA of content flow and user experience.

Discover

  • We conducted usability tests on desktop, ios, surface pro.

  • We narrowed down to the highest priority for the platform launch.

  • User flow was mapped,

Using Cards and affinity maps, we found many opportunities to improve the interface navigation and content specs.

The exit buttons took the users to another page, rather than returning to the app menu.
